Or check out preservewa.org/taxcredit/ for additional information from Washington State Main Street.
Any monies received from the Tax Incentive Program will go directly to Colville Together Programs & Projects. These funds stay in our community working here instead of going to the State.

Here is what our contributors say about this program.
I have participated in this for several years now. Instead of paying my B & O taxes directly to the Department of Revenue, I make payments to Colville Together. Then, I receive 3/4 of what I gave to Colville Together in B & O tax credits with the Department of Revenue! It works REALLY well and this way most of our B & O taxes stay right here and get used to continue to make downtown Colville more beautiful and inviting.
I have watched so many wonderful improvements happen here in downtown Colville: the amazing murals, the beautiful landscaping with flowers, plants and trees, and many grants given so that building facades can be improved and updated. I would encourage anyone who isn’t already participating in this tax program to do so -it is working so well!” Karen Abide, RE Lee Shoes
Why wouldn’t a business want to direct their tax dollars to be spent locally? Every time I drive down Main Street I can see the Main Street Tax Credit Program at work through the improved building facades, awnings and especially the new mural by the Pour House. The addition of 4th Friday last summer was something that we looked forward to as a family and I am glad to see it is back this year. We love knowing that our contribution has helped make downtown Colville a more lively and welcoming place!” Alaina Fogle, Fogle Pump & Supply Inc.
This program is beneficial because I know where my money is going. Currently the B&O tax gets collected by the state and dispersed. This allows some of my B&O tax to go directly to this program on improving our community.
Seeing heritage court become a central point in our community by improvements in appearance and events has been something that I have seen since the tax incentive program began. One of my favorite things to do is relax on a sunny day on the patio and enjoy a drink/food with friends and family, so this is such a big improvement!
This program not only will continue to beautify the town we live in but help our economy! These local businesses are a huge part of the towns economy and growth. We are a little outside of the downtown area so some of what is happening will not directly affect me, but helping our local economy be successful will indirectly affect me as my services rely on that.” Liselotte Butterfield, Norstar Heating & Cooling, Inc.
